Vertical Threads Align with Shade - Clutch/Wand Adjacent NS - FAQ

Specifications for Vertical Thread Patterns in Clutch or Wand Adjacent Natural Shades
Some natural shade fabrics have vertical threads that run through the shade and valance. How do the woven wood factories decide where to begin aligning them?

Important to Note: We warn that natural shade patterns with vertical threads will not align with the shade if ordered clutch or wand adjacent.

Example:
This is a standard natural shade with valance, and it needs to be clutch and chain loop adjacent.

When YX used to make these shades (prior to 1.14.26), they centered the pattern on the valance and shade separately. This method causes a problem when ordered clutch or wand adjacent, as the shade pattern no longer aligns with the valance pattern. See Figure 1 and 2.

To solve this issue, we have new woven wood specifications that went into place on 1.14.26.

1. The pattern is centered on the shade

2. The valance is aligned vertically, starting on the idle side of the shade

3. It is important to note that the overall pattern may not be centered on the valance due to the clutch or wand adjacent deduction

This specification applies for both Clutch Adjacent and Wand Adjacent natural shades, from any WW factory (YX, SLN, SB). See Figure 3 to see new natural shade with updated specification.
